A few months ago
Harold and Lometa called us to list their home. Several months
prior to that they had been out shopping for a home and found
one they wanted to buy. The listing agent for that home
convinced them to list with her for convenience. Well, it didn’t
end up being so convenient. Not only did their home never sell,
but they lost the home they really wanted. They later discovered
that their home never had much of chance to sell because it had
not been marketed properly. There were never any pictures of

The McFarlands
A
few months ago, Osy and Kelly were referred to us by a past
client. They were very excited about buying their first home and
although Osy and Kelly both had good jobs, it was important to
them to stay within the price range they had determined they
were comfortable in. Even though they were told they could
“qualify” for more, the last thing they wanted to do was get
caught up in the emotion and overspend on a house.
When they first started their
home search, they were working with an agent who continually
showed them homes above their stated price range. Gradually they
were considering higher and higher priced properties which made
them uncomfortable. One day Kelly was visiting with an old
friend of hers and explaining the problem they were
experiencing. Kelly explained they wanted a Realtor who they
could trust and that would listen to and respect their desires.
This friend, (a past client of ours) said “You should Call the
Walls!”.
Kelly called Laurie and shared
with her a description of the home they were looking for. Laurie
listened and asked many questions to make sure she had a good
feel for what type of homes to look for. Because Laurie checks
all the new listings in the Wall Team’s market area on a daily
basis she knew of a brand new listing that sounded perfect for
Osy and Kelly. Kelly and Laurie immediately set an appointment
to see this home and Kelly was so excited about the house that
she brought Osy back that same day and they decided to purchase
it! This home had everything they had described to Laurie
including a gorgeous park-like backyard and best of all, it was
just below their budgeted price limit.
Dennis
and Donna had been looking for their dream home for three years.
They were having a difficult time finding a home they both
loved. We met them when they called to see one of our listings
which didn't end up working out. We asked Donna what is was that
they really wanted. A couple of weeks later we listed a home
that sounded like what Donna had described...."a home with a
really pretty view".

Up
until a year ago Ray and Carol were enjoying the lifestyle that
most of us are who have raised our families and have no children
left at home. But things changed. Because of some unusual
circumstances in their immediate family, Ray and Carol found
themselves deciding to help raise their two granddaughters.
Because of this newly expanded family Ray and Carol found that
they’d suddenly outgrown their comfortable 1500 square foot
home. They decided they would have to sell their home and buy a
larger one. The new home would need to have 3-4 bedrooms, a
playroom for the girls and a place for Ray’s office.
When we first met Ray and Carol
they had already started searching and had selected a few homes
that they wanted us to show them. It was so exciting when the
first home we showed them was perfect for their newly expanded
family! We immediately secured a contract on it and proceeded
with the process of selling their current home. We knew we would
need to sell their current home quickly. We priced the home
strategically and made some key suggestions to help the home
show to its fullest potential.
Everything seemed to fall right
into place. We were able to sell Ray and Carol’s home in less
than two weeks and are pleased to report that they are happily
settling into their beautiful and spacious new home that has
lots of play areas for the girls and a great space for Ray’s
office.
A
couple of months ago John and Patty Wendel decided it was time
to purchase a larger, nicer home with a pool for themselves and
